A Russian billionaire has a yacht that fires lasers at paparazzi cameras. Roman Abramovich definitely takes his privacy seriously. He had his newest yacht, The Eclipse, equipped with an “anti-paparazzi shield”. It uses infrared lasers to detect the electric light sensors in cameras, then fires a focused beam of light at the camera to keep it from being able to record an image. That’s not all for the extravagant vessel, already the biggest yacht in the world. The Eclipse requires a crew of 60 to operate, including a handful of security guards (veterans from the French Foreign Legion) to operate the “shield”. It also comes with 2 helipads, 2 swimming pools, a sunroof, reinforced windows designed to withstand a missile attack, and a submarine (for emergencies). Jasmine is the only Disney princess who is not the main character of her movie. This may come as a surprise at first, but think about it - EVERY other princess is the focus of their movie’s narrative. The titles of all the other movies mention the princess by name, nickname, or an allusion to their character: -Pocahontas, Mulan, Cinderella, and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (duh) -Sleeping Beauty refers to Princess Aurora, who is doing the sleeping -The Little Mermaid - Ariel is a mermaid and the youngest of all her sisters -Beauty and the Beast - Belle is one of these two…we’ll let you guess which -The Princess and the Frog - Tiana is the frog’s princess -Tangled - a reference to the Rapunzel’s long hair …………Aladdin? Not so much. Though she was a big part of the story, Princess Jasmine was not the protagonist in her film. (source) - OMG Facts - Your Mind. Blown.

An Ohio man changed his name to Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime - the artist formerly known as Scott Edward Noll of Mansfield, OH - is member of Ohio’s 5694th National Guard unit. Prime opted to change his name on his 30th birthday in honor of the Transformer, who had filled the void left by his father’s untimely death early in his childhood. Prime says that the real Optimus had become very much of an idealized replacement father and the values he stands for have made him the person that he is today - the cartoon character even was Prime’s impetus for choosing to serve his country!
